Series of works: Views from Within

In the series of images “Beyond the Visible – Views from Within,” the exploration of pictorial spaces and objects takes center stage. At the end of this experiment, I discovered a visual language that has become binding for me.

Thematically, the aim is to make a motif visible not only from the outside, but also from within. While everything begins with an external form, I then open it up, allowing light and movement to penetrate inwards. Colors and textures become vehicles of mood and rhythm. For me, everything is interconnected – only the exploration of both levels yields a complete picture.

Landscapes and cityscapes have always been among my recurring subjects. I am particularly fascinated by the boundary between land and water: it symbolizes both wanderlust and arrival.

The landscapes themselves emerge playfully. In the depicted locations, I am primarily interested in the light and – even more so – the inherent mystery within them.
